Tea Lady – The Grace of Hospitality
In the quiet mornings of Nippon, when the mist still clings to the rooftops and the first rays of sunlight touch the tatami floors, she moves gracefully through the house - the Tea Lady. Her hands are steady, her presence serene. She carries the tray not merely as a servant, but as a keeper of tradition, honouring the art of tea with every step.
Each figure captures a fleeting moment of calm - the elegance of routine, the poetry of gesture. Whether she’s preparing for guests, serving a master, or tending to weary travellers, she reminds us that even the smallest acts can hold beauty and meaning.
Perfect for dioramas, narrative scenes, or as a quiet centrepiece among the bustle of warriors and merchants, the Tea Lady brings warmth and balance to your collection.
Height including base: 41 mm
The Tea Lady was designed by Iain Lovecraft and made by Mad Miniatures. She comes unpainted and with a separate base as shown in the grey renders. The base was designed by Monolith Arts.
The original Nippon Saga campaign was designed in 28 mm heroic scale, which in practice corresponds more closely to 32 mm true scale. Until now, we offered this original version under the 28 mm label — which was incorrect. To make things clearer and give you more flexibility, we now provide both options: the original 32 mm version (as designed by Iain Lovecraft) and a newly downscaled true 28 mm version for those who prefer full compatibility with traditional 28 mm tabletop ranges.
