Field Worker – Nippon Village Life
Carrying both the weight of labour and the love of motherhood, the Field Worker moves gracefully through the rice fields of Nippon. A child rests peacefully in the woven basket on her back while she holds her tools and a wooden bucket, embodying the strength and tenderness of rural life.
This miniature captures a beautifully human moment — the balance between duty and care, between toil and devotion. The detailed sculpting of her garments, the texture of the basket, and the gentle expression on both faces bring a touch of realism and warmth to your Nippon Saga collection.
Perfect for village scenes, narrative play, or as a centrepiece in a diorama celebrating the spirit of everyday heroes.
Height including base: 41 mm
This worker was designed by Iain Lovecraft and made by Mad Miniatures. She comes unpainted and with a separate base as shown in the grey renders. The base was designed by Monolith Arts.
The original Nippon Saga campaign was designed in 28 mm heroic scale, which in practice corresponds more closely to 32 mm true scale. Until now, we offered this original version under the 28 mm label — which was incorrect. To make things clearer and give you more flexibility, we now provide both options: the original 32 mm version (as designed by Iain Lovecraft) and a newly downscaled true 28 mm version for those who prefer full compatibility with traditional 28 mm tabletop ranges.
