Field Worker – Nippon Village Life
Weathered by time and toil, the Field Worker stands as a proud symbol of Nippon’s enduring rural heritage. His straw cloak and broad hat shield him from the elements, while his steady hands grip the hoe — an instrument of both survival and tradition.
Every wrinkle and fold in his clothing reflects years of hard labour and quiet perseverance. The textured detail of the straw, the soft movement of the garments, and the calm determination in his expression bring this miniature vividly to life.
Ideal for enriching a village diorama or storytelling scene, this figure adds authenticity to your Nippon Saga collection, celebrating the unsung strength of those who shaped the land.
Height including base: 41 mm
This worker was designed by Iain Lovecraft and made by Mad Miniatures. He comes unpainted and with a separate base as shown in the grey renders. The base was designed by Monolith Arts.
The original Nippon Saga campaign was designed in 28 mm heroic scale, which in practice corresponds more closely to 32 mm true scale. Until now, we offered this original version under the 28 mm label — which was incorrect. To make things clearer and give you more flexibility, we now provide both options: the original 32 mm version (as designed by Iain Lovecraft) and a newly downscaled true 28 mm version for those who prefer full compatibility with traditional 28 mm tabletop ranges.
