Yumi Samurai Archers - The Iron Piercer
While a standard flight arrow is designed for distance, some targets require a much more brutal solution. "The Iron Piercer" captures a dedicated heavy marksman dropping to one knee to provide the absolute maximum stability for a devastating, high-impact shot. He isn't firing blindly into the sky; he has drawn his yumi to its absolute limit, taking dead aim at a heavily armored samurai, a charging cavalry mount, or a monstrous beast.
The true star of this sculpt is the massive, spear-like broadhead arrow notched on his bowstring. This is a specialized, armor-piercing shaft designed to punch through iron chest plates or shatter wooden shields on impact. His kneeling stance not only grounds his shot but drastically reduces his profile against enemy return fire. Clad in forest green robes with striking red-and-gold hip armor and a thick, protective crimson collar, his fierce, unblinking glare tells you that he never misses.
For the tabletop, this miniature is the ultimate anti-armor sniper, a monster-hunting ranger, or an elite defensive marksman holding the line. Painters will absolutely love highlighting the sharp, deadly edges of that oversized arrowhead and picking out the intricate, colourful lacing on his traditional armor plates.

This Yumi Samurai Archer was designed by Forged Path Miniatures and made by Mad Miniatures under license. He comes unpainted and with a separate base as shown in the grey renders. That means some assembly is needed. The base was designed by Monolith Arts.
