Samurai armed with the naginata were among the most dangerous mounted warriors of feudal Japan. From horseback, the long-bladed polearm combined reach, weight, and momentum, allowing devastating sweeping attacks against foot soldiers while keeping the rider beyond immediate retaliation.
This Samurai Naginata Cavalry miniature captures that moment of impact. The rider is shown mid-charge, weapon raised for a wide, punishing strike as the horse surges forward. Armour plates, cords, flowing garments, and detailed horse tack reflect the balance between protection, mobility, and discipline that defined samurai cavalry.

These Samurai Naginata Cavalry were designed by Forged Path Miniatures and made by Mad Miniatures under license. They come unpainted and with a separate base as shown in the grey renders. Riders are not attached to the horse. That means some assembly is needed. The base was designed by Monolith Arts.
