Onna Bugeisha - The Advancing Gunner
The Onna Bugeisha proved that heavy black-powder weapons could be utilized dynamically in the heat of a skirmish. "The Advancing Gunner" captures a frontline warrior in motion, stepping forward into a wide, aggressive stance while tracking her target. Holding her tanegashima matchlock diagonally across her chest, she is perfectly balanced and ready to snap the heavy rifle up for a decisive shot. Her intense, focused gaze beneath her sweeping, uniquely horned kabuto helmet tells the story of a fighter actively hunting the enemy.
This sculpt is packed with kinetic energy and incredible historical detail. The miniature features heavy, laced armor plating over a textured, fringed waist layer, offering a striking contrast of materials. With her katana secured firmly at her hip, she is visually prepared for the chaotic shifts of Sengoku-era warfare. Printed in crisp, unpainted resin, these details offer painters a beautifully textured canvas for washes, highlights, and custom heraldry.
A fantastic addition to any mobile tabletop force, this miniature is perfect for leading an aggressive gunline in Test of Honour, serving as a highly mobile ranged threat in Bushido, or acting as a dynamic player character in your next historical RPG campaign.
