Ninja Assassins - The Viper's Feint
A shinobi’s greatest weapon is not the steel they carry, but the deception they weave. When a shadow operative is intercepted in the open—caught in the muddy courtyard of a daimyo's estate or ambushed on a moonlight forest path—they do not clash swords like honor-bound samurai. "The Viper's Feint" captures a master of misdirection forced into open combat, utilizing a stance designed entirely to manipulate his opponent.
Dropping into a wide, deeply rooted stance, this assassin makes his center of gravity virtually unbreakable. But it is his hands that tell the true story of this duel. His left palm is thrust forward, open and unarmed, deliberately leaving his chest exposed to invite a lunging attack. It is a lethal psychological trap. The moment an overconfident guardsman takes the bait and thrusts a spear or katana toward the opening, that open hand will swat the strike aside, pulling the attacker off balance. In the same fluid breath, the ninja's right hand—holding his short, straight-bladed ninjato high and drawn back—will deliver a blinding, fatal counter-strike to the enemy's exposed neck.
Standing on an overgrown, muddy base, this model is perfect for wilderness ambushes, ruined temples, or courtyard skirmishes. For the painter, the deeply shadowed recesses of his cowl and the flowing movement of his dark, layered robes offer a fantastic study in texture and muted, stealth-focused color palettes. He is the perfect rogue, shadow-monk, or elite adversary for your next campaign.

This Ninja Assassin was designed by Forged Path Miniatures and made by Mad Miniatures under license. He comes unpainte and with a separate base as shown in the grey renders. That means some assembly is needed. The base was designed by Monolith Arts.
