Standing above the frost-covered outskirts of town, this towering windmill watches over the fields that once fed the settlement. Even in the bitter cold, its great sails turn slowly in the frozen wind, a reminder that life and work continue despite the endless winter.
This impressive structure is one of Iain Lovecraft’s classic designs, capturing the atmosphere of a rural settlement struggling against the cold. The tall stone base supports the wooden mill house above, while the large sails give the building a striking presence that instantly draws the eye on the tabletop.
Perfect as a scenic landmark, rural objective, or defensive position, the windmill works beautifully for wargames and role-playing encounters. Whether used as a mill still grinding grain for the town, a lookout point above the frozen fields, or a hiding place for smugglers and rebels, it adds both height and narrative depth to any Frost settlement.
Measurements 32 mm: 303 mm x 257 mm and is about 375 mm high. 28 mm: 267 mm x 226 mm and is about 313 mm high.
Colour images are of a painted test print of the designer. While they closely reflect the final model, minor variations in fine details may occur. The final product is a physical 3D-printed item. The unpainted renders show the exact sculpt that will be printed.
This building was designed by Iain Lovecraft and made by Mad Miniatures. It comes unpainted and needs to be assembled.
