Horseheim Farm – Hearth of the Homestead

At the quiet edge of every village lies a place where life begins each morning with the rustle of reeds and the scent of fresh earth. The Horseheim Farm is the beating heart of rural life — a humble roundhouse sheltered beneath thick, layered thatch and circled by a sturdy woven fence. Here, families tend their animals, gather crops, and warm their hands by the stone hearth after a long day under open skies.

Its circular stone walls speak of generations who worked the land with patience and pride. The thatched roof, bound in rings like the growth of an ancient tree, shelters a living space rich with stories. A small timber porch opens toward the yard, where tools rest and the day’s labour begins. Inside, the hearth glows — a reminder that even in the frozen North, warmth is never far away.

The Farm was designed by David Lann and made by Mad Miniatures. It comes unpainted and needs to be assembled.

The original Horseheim campaign was designed in 28 mm heroic scale, which in practice corresponds more closely to 32 mm true scale. We offer both, the original 32 mm version (as designed by David Lann) and a downscaled true 28 mm version for those who prefer full compatibility with traditional 28 mm tabletop ranges.
