Normally found lurking in the darkest depths of the sea, this peculiar Steampunk Angler Fish has started appearing in the most unexpected places. It seems its brass plates and mechanical gears allow it to wander far from the ocean floor, popping up in gardens, bookshelves, or even your tabletop.

This articulated marvel is both funny and fascinating:

• The fin moves
• The mouth opens
• The glowing “angel” lure is fully articulated
• From mouth to tail, it measures 95 mm
