Rustic Stable – Fantasy Terrain Building

Wherever adventurers gather, their horses need a place to rest. This Rustic Stable is the perfect companion to the Red Roc Tavern, offering shelter for weary steeds while the heroes inside raise their mugs.

With its weathered timber frame, stone foundation, and sloping roof, the stable has the same comic-inspired style as Iain Lovecraft’s tavern but works beautifully as a stand-alone piece. Place it beside an inn, within a village, or on a lord’s estate — it blends naturally into any medieval or fantasy setting.

The open structure makes it fully playable, allowing miniatures to be placed inside for encounters or staging. Whether it’s a quiet night of rest for adventurers’ mounts or a surprise ambush in the shadows, this stable brings storytelling potential to your tabletop.

The Stable measures 210 mm x 138 mm and is 110 mm to the roof top. The roof can be taken off for better playability.

The Stable was designed by Iain Lovecraft and made by Mad Miniatures. It comes unpainted.

This campaign follows the designer’s original scale (28 mm heroic), commonly used across 28–32 mm tabletop systems.
