Horseheim Outpost – Sentinel of the Northern Road
Standing at the windswept edge of Horseheim, the Outpost serves as the settlement’s vigilant eye. Travellers approaching from the high plains see its horse-crested tower long before they reach the Main Hall.
Built from timber, stone, and thatch, this sturdy watch station blends warrior spirit with simple frontier life - a compact home, a defensive tower, and a ceremonial roof crowned by carved horses.
Inside, the lower house offers a warm chamber complete with hearth and heavy wooden floors. Above, the tall stone tower provides a commanding view of the valley below. The roofed lookout platform is decorated with powerful equine symbols, making the outpost not just a military structure but a tribute to Horseheim’s heritage.
A perfect piece for narrative play, ambush scenarios, border encounters, or as a character’s home base.

The Outpost measures 125 mm x 189 mm and stands 220 mm high.
28 mm:
The Outpost measures 110 mm x 166 mm and stands 194 mm high.
The Outpost was designed by David Lann and made by Mad Miniatures. It comes unpainted and needs to be assembled.
The original Horseheim campaign was designed in 28 mm heroic scale, which in practice corresponds more closely to 32 mm true scale. We offer both, the original 32 mm version (as designed by David Lann) and a downscaled true 28 mm version for those who prefer full compatibility with traditional 28 mm tabletop ranges.
