Horseheim Haystacks – Harvest of the North

Across the fields of Horseheim, these humble haystacks mark the rhythm of daily life. Before winter bites and storms sweep across the plains, the villagers gather and bind the season’s harvest into great mounds of straw. Two towering stacks stand ready to feed the livestock through the cold months, while smaller piles dot the farmstead - drying fodder, loose trimmings, and the remains of a long day’s work in the fields.

For adventurers, these simple shapes offer more than meets the eye. A hiding place for scouts, a vantage point for ambushes, or simply peaceful scenery along a quiet rural road - haystacks have a way of becoming part of the story.

The Haystacks were designed by David Lann and made by Mad Miniatures. They come unpainted.

The original Horseheim campaign was designed in 28 mm heroic scale, which in practice corresponds more closely to 32 mm true scale. We offer both, the original 32 mm version (as designed by David Lann) and a downscaled true 28 mm version for those who prefer full compatibility with traditional 28 mm tabletop ranges.
